This particular photo album was put together for one of the Old Settlers' Day a few years ago by Sue Hodges, wife of Rick Hodges of Deer Park. Rick and his brother Ron are sons of Paul and Bernice Hodges of Deer Park. They met while working at the Deer Park Pine Industry.
This beautiful display was one of many shown at the Deer Park Fairgrounds inside the Fairbuilding. In addition there was beef and dairy cattle, hogs, chickens, rabbits and horse judging. There was also a rodeo also and to top it off on Saturday night, one great dance. The Deer Park Fair was a gala event.
Dorothy Kinkaid, representing the Deer Park Hospital Auxiliary, presented a wealth of artifacts to Clayton/ Deer Park Historical Society. This rare photo of downtown Deer Park was included. The restored photo is up and to the right.

This is said to be the old Stage Hotel located in Williams valley and may still be in existance to this day on the Janis Purdy place
