Some of the old Relics are still around. Some have been restored. Most are in the talking stages.
There is more History in this picture than meets the eye. First of all its a Painting by Leno Prestini. Secondly its a picture of Warren Nord. Third is the Old Clayton Grange Hall being moved to the Nord estate, and lastly the equipment being used to move this old relic, such as the Cat pushing and Leno's Pick up in the near fore ground. We intend to bring you pictures of then and the restored version as they exist today.
Warren likewise appears to be rather well maintained and just in case Rainy needs replenishing someday, here is a carbon copy little Grand Daughter to fill the bill.
Slowly but surely the mechanical and restoration proceeds.
There are a few things that even the CDPHS can't do. We can't bring back Leno Prestini's Studio nor his house nor Leno himself. But what would you say to seeing a current photo of the love of his life. His PICKUP. We believe we have located it and with luck we may just be able to put a photo or two in this album within one month to the day. Ray Hall states he rode in this pickup more than once and spent time with Leno at the old Triple R Diner north west of Clayton. We are in the market for a picture of the triple R for this Album if you can help, please let us know.
Speaking of the Triple R Diner, here is a photo of Pat Sharback, Dave Austin, and Larry Clouse. Leno's painting of Ghost Riders in the background. The painting strangely enough was moved from the premises just prior to the RRR's demise by fire. The painting is now in the possesion of the Stevens County Historical Society.

The old Grange Hall is being maintained in its original state by Lorraine (Rainy) and Warren Nord. With the roof in good repair and the flooring being replaced this year, it is used for hay storage and a shelter for some family heirlooms. One being Warrens Father, Clarence's old saddle and Warrens Great Grandfathers saddle just to name a few.
In this closeup of Leno.s 1958 painting if you will notice the old red Bull dozer at the rear of the hall. How would you like to have a look at the real thing. Feast your eyes below.
Mr Ray Hall who is Married to Nadine Kratzer, inherited this 1937 Mc Cormick Derring track type tractor that Mr. Ken Katzer, father of Nadine, used to to help move the Grange Hall when Mr Herendeen's truch was unable to move such a massive load over rough pasture land. Ray Hall restored it as shown in the next two photos.
And here for final inspection, in perfect running order and shinning like a silver dollar, a brand new old old Tractor ready for another 70 years of service. Mr. Hall advises that the truck belonging to Mr. Herendeen has probably disappeared into oblivian.
